Description

Democracy once had it easier. Its global influence is declining, social conflicts are hardening, and trust in state institutions is eroding. At the same time, people are demanding more participation and a stronger sense of community. What can be done? Concepts for renewing democracy must address the fault lines that define our time. In the age of AI, both state and society need to embrace greater openness to cooperation and a new culture of conflict and compromise.

Cover New Democracy

We show how our political institutions can become more resilient, digital and inclusive. This requires new discourse spaces and a changed culture of participation in politics and administration.
