Singing Competition: NEUE STIMMEN 2021 offers new prospects to opera talents during the corona pandemic
Our 19th NEUE STIMMEN International Singing Competition will take place again this year as planned, but with an approach and schedule that have been adapted to the coronavirus pandemic. Young opera singers have until May 31 to submit their applications, which for the first time will include a video component.
Event: For the first time, NEUE STIMMEN’s international master class will support opera talent through an all-digital format
As part of a new online format, rising opera singers from all over the world will receive invaluable support helping them on the way to successful careers. From 26 to 30 October, they will work with high-profile opera experts, both individually and in groups, to further develop their skills. Communal activities will play an important role and build on NEUE STIMMEN’s network ethos, even in the digital environment.
Singing Competition: Anna El-Khashem and Long Long win the NEUE STIMMEN 2019
Soprano Anna El-Khashem from Russia and Tenor Long Long from China top the list at the 18th international singing competition NEUE STIMMEN. At the final round in Gütersloh, these young talents enthralled the jury of international opera experts. The three top competitors in the women and men category received cash prizes worth a total of 65,000 euros. Vladislav Buyalskiy from Ukraine won the new introduced Brian Dickie Young Singers Award.

Ten opera talents have qualified for the final round of the NEUE STIMMEN International Singing Competiton in Gütersloh. The final concert to be held on October 26, 2019 will be broadcast live on neue-stimmen.de, Takt 1 and arte Concert.

18 young opera talents have qualified for the semi-final of the NEUE STIMMEN 2019 international singing competition. We will livestream the concert on Thursday evening from Gütersloh, Germany. There the singers will compete for their participation in the final concert on Saturday.

Young singers from around the world can now submit applications to participate in the NEUE STIMMEN International Singing Competition. Applications will be accepted until March 25, 2019. The jury for the preliminary auditions has been expanded to include Sophie Joyce and Alexander Neef.
