In this paper, Ignacio Garcia Bercero reflects on the origins of the crisis of the WTO, reviews proposals how to fix the system and make it more relevant for future of trade policy. Based on this analysis, he develops a series of suggestions that would help to revitalize the WTO and to strengthen its role in global economic governance.
