Description

The joint study by the Bertelsmann Stiftung and The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) analyzes six industries that are particularly suitable for investment and can form the backbone of the Ukrainian economy: renewable energy; critical minerals; metal processing; the production of machinery as well as electrical and transportation equipment; the agricultural and food sector; and IT. It also proposes policy support measures that can strengthen Ukraine's economic position in the reconstruction and EU accession process. The goal is to optimize Ukrainian capacities within the framework of both processes, so that reconstruction and economic restructuring for EU accession go hand in hand.
