The Bertelsmann Stiftung and seven of Europe’s leading think tanks and foundations have initiated Vision Europe to enhance their cooperation. Vision Europe aims at fostering European integration and at promoting innovative solutions to Europe’s most pressing public policy challenges. Through research, publications and an annual summit, Vision Europe is a forum for debates and new ideas at both national and EU levels.
In Vision Europe eight of the leading think tanks and foundations in Europe joined forces in order to contribute to the analysis of pressing social and economic challenges in Europe. We want to be a forum of debate and a source of recommendations informing the European as well as the national levels as we believe that the future of the EU is inextricably connected to the developments in its member states.
At the annual conference, the Vision Europe Dialogue, we discuss the results of our research with stakeholders from politics, academia and civil society in an innovate dialogue format. Previous topics were: “The EU as pioneer of fair data economy” (2019), “Winners and losers of globalization” (2017), “Solutions to the migration and refugee crisis in Europe” (2016) and “The future of the welfare state”.
Our partners are: Bruegel (Brussels), Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (Lisbon), CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research (Warsaw), Chatham House (London), Compagnia di San Paolo (Turin), Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra (Helsinki), Jacques Delors Institute (Paris)
