Demokratiemonitor: Democracy Means Constant Adjustment
Democracy means constantly adjusting to new challenges and continuous change. In recent decades, German society has become more socially unequal, more individualized, more digital, older and more diversified. Even so, our democracy has yet to sufficiently adjust to changes in our political culture and our society. Our democracy is subjected to a systematic analysis of its strengths and weaknesses in order to identify the aspects most urgently in need of adjustment and reform.
