Policy Brief: Perceptions of Inequality Survey 2015 / 2016

Of all the objectives assigned to the welfare state, economic redistribution is a crucial, and sensitive, one. But how do people perceive their own place in the income distribution and how does their perception of inequality alter their policy preferences? To find out, we teamed up with the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) and designed a unique cross-country study, the summary of which you can find in this policy Brief.
