Globalization and the EU: Threat or opportunity?

Last year we published the report "Fears Not Values: Public opinion and the populist vote in Europe" in which we presented survey evidence suggesting that supporters of populist parties differ from supporters of mainstream parties in one important respect: they fear globalization.

Here we follow up on these findings and explore in depth people’s knowledge and feelings about globalization and how these are linked to their views about the future of the European project.
