Together with policy makers, practitioners, researchers and other stakeholders involved in further developing and implementing the Validation of Prior Learning, we will draft and adopt the Berlin Declaration on Validation, setting the benchmark for validation systems worldwide. Invited presentations in four workshops for each of six policy tracks will lay the foundation for this declaration:

1. Organisational arrangement
2. Financing
3. Procedures and instruments
4. Support structures
5. Post-validation pathways
6. Legal foundations

On the evening of 7 May a reception will be held at the Bertelsmann Representation with an international buffet. This event offers the perfect opportunity for networking. There will also be an award ceremony for the 3rd Global VPL prize in three categories: products, procedures and policies.

The conference will be held in English.
Registration fee is 250 €, if registered between 1 January – 5 April 2019.
Do not hesitate to contact us should you have questions.

Register until 31 December 2018 with an early bird rate of 195 €.
