Why has digitization in Estonia been so successful? Here’s your chance to find out – by getting to know a country in the cloud.
In order to award the 2017 Reinhard Mohn Prize on “Smart Country – Connected. Intelligent. Digital.” the project team searched for the best digital practices and applications worldwide. They focused on a number of areas such as work and the economy, health and care, policy and public administration, mobility and logistics, and learning and information. A key part of the process was research carried out on site in select countries. In addition to Estonia, the team travelled to Sweden, Austria and Israel.
