Smart Country addresses the challenges of the 21st Century. Intelligent technology will mean participation for everyone, ensuring equal living conditions in both cities and rural areas.
Three trends are central to doing so: digitalisation, social divides and demographic change. They affect all areas of life. Digitalisation opens up new opportunities, ensuring equal living conditions and participation. Germany, however, is far from widespread success. How can participation and equal opportunities be ensured for all regions and communities? With the “Smart Country” project, we’re on a mission to find out.
