Short Vita
Eric Thode has been Senior Advisor for Employment and the Labor Market in the Bertelsmann Stiftung’s Sustainable Social Market Economies program since 2022. Since joining the foundation in 2001, he has held various positions, including Director of the Center for International Forums and Trends and the Rethinking Work program. After studying economics at Kiel University, he began his career in 1996 as a research assistant at the University of Würzburg. He was a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld and is the author of numerous articles on the labor market and social policy issues.
