Short Vita
Dominik Hierlemann has been a Senior Advisor at the Bertelsmann Stiftung since January 2022. He is an expert on new forms of citizen participation and European democracy. The political scientist and specialist for public administration lived and carried out research for extended periods in Krakow, Poland and Sydney, Australia. He joined the foundation in 2004 and since then has designed, organized and moderated numerous innovative dialogue events and participation projects, including with the German chancellor, the German president, federal ministers and European commissioners.
