Between 27 and 30 October 2020, the European Commission held its first fully digital cross-border EU Citizens' Dialogue in cooperation with the Bertelsmann Stiftung. Over the course of three days, 100 randomly selected citizens from Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Lithuania came together online to discuss Europe's democratic, digital and green future with Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission and Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries.
