Video: More than a Market Winner 2019: Henkel

On May 30, 2019, the Bertelsmann Stiftung, the German Chamber of Commerce in China and the German Consulate General in Shanghai honored German companies for their social commitment in China. The companies received awards as part of the "More Than A Market" initiative launched in early 2015.

In the category for "environmental protection", Henkel was selected as winner at the More than a Market Award for its project "Flying Hope", which aims at saving the life of an endangered bird species, the spoon-billed sandpiper.
The More than a Market Initiative was kicked-off in 2015, shining light on the social engagement of German companies operating in China.
