Video: More than a Market Winner 2018: Changsha Bach’s Bakery

On May 31, 2018, the Bertelsmann Stiftung, the German Chamber of Commerce in China and the German Consulate General in Shanghai honored German companies for their social commitment in China. The companies received awards as part of the "More Than A Market" initiative launched in early 2015.

In recognition of the overwhelming number of German companies committed to social inclusion, the category "Social Inclusion" was added. Changsha Bach's Bakery received this award for its "Bach's Bakery Program" by giving people with hearing impairments the opportunity to learn baking skills and achieve financial independence through full integration into a normal work environment.
