How do intelligent systems influence our lives? How will our work change as a result of the new technologies? How will we work in the future? One of DASA’s (an exhibition center on the world of work based in Dortmund) key areas of research is the relationship between humans and machines. It offers various points of departure for the “Smart Country” project which researches the opportunities digitization present for urban and rural areas in the context of demographic change and increasing social divisions. As a permanent educational body of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA), DASA in Dortmund provides information on the world of work, its significance for individuals and society as a whole, advises politicians and promotes knowledge transfer in practice.
