Dominik Asam joins our Board of Trustees

Dominik Asam, 49, designated chief financial officer (CFO) of Airbus SE, has been appointed to our Board of Trustees effective January 1, 2019.

Dominik Asam has been CFO of Infineon Technologies AG since 2011 and will become CFO of Airbus SE in April 2019. A native of Munich, he studied at the Technical University of Munich and at École Centrale Paris, earning a degree as a mechanical engineer and an Ingénieur des Arts et Manufactures. In addition, he holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau. A technologically adept and internationally oriented financial expert with a background in engineering and industry, he began his career in New York and London working for the investment bank Goldman Sachs. He subsequently held management positions at various international companies and banks, including the roles of head of Group Controlling at RWE AG and head of the Management Board at Siemens Financial Services.
