Our 2014 Annual Report provides an overview of the projects carried out by the Bertelsmann Stiftung in the past year, projects that have increasingly been influenced by global megatrends. A few highlights: At the beginning of the year we partnered with Deutsche Welle for a multimedia project that examined the winners and losers of global change. The underlying data for the project came from the Bertelsmann Stiftung’s Transformation Index (BTI). In February, German President Joachim Gauck participated in a Bertelsmann Stiftung conference in India that examined the topic of career training. In addition, 115 schools took part in our All Kids Are VIPS Competition, which promotes social integration among young people, and seven companies were recognized by Germany’s Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Andrea Nahles for their successful completion of the new INQA Audit for a Sustainable Corporate Culture.
