Afterwards, Achim Hartig, Managing Director at Germany Trade and Invest (GTAI) will present the case of Chinese investment in Germany with a focus on greenfield investment.

The interactive online session will provide an overview of the development of Chinese direct investment abroad and potential implications for host countries, especially Germany, which is one of the major destinations for Chinese investment in the European Union.

Specifically, we will focus on the following questions:

• What is the background of increasing FDI from China?
• What is the role of the Chinese government in Chinese FDI?
• Where do Chinese companies invest and why?
• Which are the implications for Germany as a major host country of Chinese FDI in Europe?

Please join our discussion online or by phone!

We look forward to greeting you online!
