Asia Update

February 2020

Asia-related activities of Bertelsmann Stiftung and insights into important developments in the region.

What holds Asian Societies together?

A new website presents the results of our study on social cohesion in Asia in an interactive format. You can view the results in different ways and work with the data. The home page displays an interactive map showing the strengths and weaknesses of social cohesion in 22 societies in South, Southeast and East Asia (SSEA). For detailed information on a specific society, you can select a county profile under "Choose Country". Additional graphics are showing the determinants and outcomes of social cohesion in Asia. For more information, please visit Social Cohesion Asia.
