Afterwards, Joachim Fritz-Vannahme, Director of the Bertelsmann Stiftung's program Europe's Future will discuss the long-term implications of the elections for France and Europe.

The interactive online session brings together an analysis of the election and an outlook on short-term and long-term challenges ahead.

Specifically, we will focus on the following questions:

• Which factors were most important in determining the outcome of the election?
• Which are the most important challenges ahead for the president elect? Which policies can be expected?
• How important will the legislative elections be for determining France’s future economic policy?
• Which are the long-term implications for France’s political system and for the politics of the European Union?

Please join our discussion online or by phone!

We look forward to greeting you online!
