Our Reinhard Mohn Prize 2018 global search for best practices in Living Diversity – Shaping Society brought us to Mechelen, Belgium, which hosts the Samen Inburgeren project. Aiming to facilitate and foster intercultural relationships through the project, the city can boast of having helped spark 257 such friendships in the first five years of its existence.
