GED BRIEFING: Free Trade From Lisbon to Vladivostok – A Tool for Peace and Prosperity?

Dear GED followers,

PLEASE JOIN US on Tuesday, 6 September 2016 at 4-4:30 pm CEST (Berlin), when Christian Bluth from the Global Economic Dynamics team will present the results of a study on the economic effects of a Free Trade Area between the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union. This event will be on-the-record.

Please register here …it’s free!

The interactive online session will feature a quick overview of the facts and some discussion with Danila Bochkarev, an expert on EU-Russia relations of the East-West Institute.

Specifically, we will focus on the following questions:

• What would the main economic effects of such a free trade area be?
• How could such a free trade area be used to defuse the present tensions? What would the geopolitical perspective of such an agreement be?
• What would such an agreement mean for the specialization of the Eurasian Economic Union economies? How would they deal with transitory effects?

Please join our discussion online or by phone!

We look forward to greeting you online!

Kind regards,
