Das belegt der "Faktencheck Gesundheit" der Bertelsmann Stiftung. Die Zahlen zeigen auch, dass Kindern insgesamt mehr Antibiotika verordnet werden als Erwachsenen. In light of the extensive criticism currently being leveled at international financial ratings agencies, the Bertelsmann Stiftung has announced it is moving forward with a model for a nonprofit ratings agency. Over the coming months the foundation will work with a group of international experts to carry out a study outlining a new type of agency whose sole purpose will be to evaluate individual countries. "The Euro crisis has shown that not everyone is happy with the existing ratings agencies," said Gunter Thielen, chairman and CEO of the Bertelsmann Stiftung. In his capacity as board member, he is responsible for projects in the Europe, Employment and Globalization program areas. Originally from the Netherlands, de Geus was one of four deputy secretaries-general at the OECD and left his position there at the end of August. At a special summit held on July 21, the heads of state or government in the eurozone and the International Monetary Fund agreed on a new rescue package for Greece. The private sector will shoulder part of the burden, broadening the menu of options for easing the crisis. Along with Ireland and Portugal, Greece was also granted reduced interest rates on its loans. With its decision, the eurozone moves closer to a system of issuing common bonds.
