Demographic Change Campaign
The Demographic Change Campaign is one of the Bertelsmann Stiftung's focus projects. We view demographic change as a driver of social innovation and an opportunity rather than a threat. We are therefore committed to developing the necessary tools for promoting forward-looking policies at both the federal and state levels.
The Demographic Change Campaign is structured organically. It is creating new indicator-based assessments of the status quo, developing and communicating new reform strategies and addressing policy issues geared toward change management.

moreFederal and State Levels
In order to address the consequences of demographic change more effectively at the federal and state levels and to bring new momentum to implementing proposed reforms, we are establishing a demography network to bring together federal and state actors throughout Germany. Cross-state seminars are a key instrument in the network toolbox. Moderated by the Bertelsmann Stiftung, the seminars serve as a platform for dialogue and exchange among administrators and experts throughout Germany.
