Shaping a Globalized World
The world has become much more interconnected and interdependent since the processes of globalization accelerated in recent decades. Causes and effects are no longer geographically limited. Frequent unintended consequences pose further challenges to policy making. At the same time, the globalized world is lacking effective governance instruments to cope with these challenges.
