Leadership
Given the great challenges of leadership today, it is no longer enough to simply continue along well-trodden paths. The complex issues raised by globalization, the effects of the international crisis, and developments in Web 2.0 require exploration of what today's leadership and organizational structures should look like.
In this context, the Bertelsmann Stiftung intends to support executives in their day-to-day work with executive boards, colleagues, and employees. The Corporate Culture in a Globalized World program therefore seeks to promote discussion of innovative approaches to leadership.
Our Business Summer School offers executives the opportunity to explore the topics of leadership, corporate culture and change, and to find new ideas and approaches through discussion groups and reports of others' experiences. High-level speakers from business, politics, academia and the media take part in this event.
The Bertelsmann Stiftung Leadership Series is a new format which offers studies and innovative workshops on leadership with a practical focus to a broader public - representatives of business, the public, and the nonprofit sector. A variety of studies will help practitioners gain an overview of schools of leadership, providing guidance and support for their daily work. Workshops with the latest approaches in this field will be led by well-known authors.
