Bertelsmann Stiftung employees are skilled specialists in a variety of fields.
The Bertelsmann Stiftung employs some 300 highly qualified people, of whom 185 work in project management.
To foster creativity and synergy, they work together in project teams — often on several projects at a time and in more than one subject area. Once a project is completed, employees with available capacity can apply to join new projects through an in-house job market. Foundation employees can thus develop into versatile specialists.
All project staff maintain close contact with the target groups whose needs their work addresses. This keeps them well informed about the latest developments and proposed solutions in critical social areas. They also make their expertise available to the media and to the general public.
