International Regulatory Reform Conference
Program
This year's IRRC will take place from November 11 - 13, 2009.
Regulatory Reform is an ever more important issue, which becomes strikingly apparent by facing the current hard economic times. The focus of the IRRC 2009 will be on businesses and their potential benefits from the current government-led drive in Europe and internationally to simplify and improve the regulatory framework, making Better Regulation one response to the economic crisis which affects businesses severely in a rapidly deteriorating economic environment.
Many prestigious partners, including speakers from national states (such as United Kingdom, Norway, Australia, the US), international organizations (such as the European Commission, the OECD and the World Bank), business organizations and academic institutions, will contribute to the conference's plenary sessions and workshops and ensuring high quality presentations and discussions.
The IRRC 2009 will start with a reception at the Swedish Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications on the evening of November 11, 2009. Swedish State Secretary, Jöran Hägglund, will give the welcome speech.
The next day in the morning we offer networking events including a Networking Breakfast for Early Birds and Your Space presentations. The first Plenary Session will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by two workstreams including 4 workshops each and the second plenary session in the afternoon.
The Evening Program will include a Dinner and a Dinner Speech at the Stockholm City Hall.
